Sector partnerships are regional, employer-focused partnerships of specific industries, education and training, and other stakeholders that focus on the workforce needs of key industries in a regional labor market. The NWDB convenes these strategically focused meetings to engage the group to develop expertise in the industry of focus, and meet the skill, recruitment, and retention needs of employers and the training, employment, and career advancement needs of workers. We believe, by meeting the needs of regional industry on behalf of the region’s jobseekers and workers, sector partnerships strengthen our region’s overall economic vitality.
